Most Awaiting Moment !

Apa lagi kalau bukan kira duit raya. This year's collection was not bad at all considering that we have not visited relatives and friends of ayah and umi in KL yet :-) My parents decided to bank-in the money into my SSPN account. Tak kisah lah !

My Crown !

Raya sudah habis. As usual, we will transit in Ipoh from Alor Star before we left for Kuala Lumpur. Normally we will spend overnight at Tok Chah's house. So my parents took this opportunity to trim my hair ! You know what, they brought me to the saloon when I was asleep. But I heard somebody was whispering in chinese dialect ....mau bulat ka mau pendek ! then somebody was wrapping my body with a cloth while I was still holding ayah. Huh !!!! Cantas !!!! I opened my eyes but too lazy to make a hu ha.

This time round, I behave like a good girl unlike the other day ! The result...macam amoi chomel ! hahahah

Syawal Datang Lagi ! Part 2

We went to Alor Star (Umi's hometown) on 3rd day of raya. When we reached the house, the gate was already opened for us ...isn't that obvious that Wan and Tok were looking forward for my presence ? heheh perasan ! As I was still not fully recovered from flu, Wan advised us to stay at home and visit our relatives on the next day instead.

This year raya is without Mak Ngah and Mak Cik....only Pak Su left to entertain me. Huh ! Mak Ngah and Mak Cik celebrated raya one day before us at London i.e. on Friday. Mmmm...

The next day, we went to Kangar....to be specific...rumah Mak Long Nora, Tok Ya, Tok Lang and Mak Su Ti. We joined Mak Ngah Zura from one house to another. We had laksa and fried mee... yummy ! We only visited Tok Nyang Jam the next day as our schedule was packed with lots of activity in Kangar. Itupun most of the mak'tok'ciks and pak'tok'ciks have left Alor Janggus except for Tok Ndaks who stay with Tok Nyang Jam.

Pssst...pssttt... Pak Su Wan kena chicken pox on the 6th day of raya. He blamed his housemate for spreading the virus. But I think the virus was in his body since he worked part time at Nandos few months back. He's just a chicken lover !!! So you got it !!!

Syawal Datang Lagi ! Part 1

This year, we celebrated 1st Day of Aidilfitri at Ipoh i.e. ayah's hometown. As raya fell on weekend, we left KL on Thursday to help Tok Chah kemas-kemas rumah and did some last-minute shopping. We went to Jusco Ipoh with Maksu and Kak Lissa (psst...her parents were still working on the last day before raya...so we kidnapped her to Jusco).

Oh ya ! Ayah and me kena selsema. So we went to Ipoh Specialist Hospital to get some medicine. You know what ? The service was very lousy. We were pushed from one building to another just to get clarification on medical benefits of ayah though the hospital is listed as one of the panels. As we opted to see Medical Officer only and not specialist, we were asked to go to a room where all accidents and emergency cases are treated. The hospital does not have a proper room for a doctor to examine outpatients. Huh ! We have blacklisted the hospital for any medical treatment. Hospital saja besar tapi service macam 3rd world country ! Well...sorry for blowing out of proportion. Ayah just want to let the steam out of his head on the very last day of puasa ! hahahah

Back to the raya story, Pak Long, Mak Long and Kak Lissa balik Raub right after buka puasa on the last day of Ramadhan. So, Raya this year is pretty sempoi without my cousin. Only Tok Chah, Mak Su, Ayah and Umi at home. When I think about it, raya will be like this forever as Ayah and Pak Long have decided to take turn celebrating raya with Tok Chah. Mmm....

Rumah Tok Chah ada nasi minyak, lemang, ketupat and rendang ayam on the 1st day of raya. Yummy !!!! We didn't visit anybody on the 1st day of raya but few people/families visited us including budak-budak basikal yang datang dari kampung mana tah datang beraya and nak kutip duit raya.

On the 2nd day, we went to Penang to visit Tok Long, Tok Teh, Tok Lang and Tok Su. Penat...memang penat...

Back To Normal Life !

Well..I am now back to my normal life without Wan, Tok, Mak Ngah, Mak Cik and Pak Su Wan. Boring...boring...

Dari Setiawangsa Ke Sepang !

Last weekend, we went to KLIA (again...!) to send Mak Ngah balik London. This time round, Ayah and Umi decided to take ERL to KLIA instead. Why ? Kereta Wan penuh dgn bagasi Mak Ngah. So kereta Wan does not have room for my stroller. Anyway, I did enjoy the ride...from taking cab to KL Sentral and ERL to KLIA.

Note : Mak Ngah kui kui la before entering Departure Gate ! Teruk Mak Ngah !!!
