Meaning of Sacrifice

Assalamualaikum Adlina and Ariff...

Three days ago, we celebrated Eid-ul Adha in commemoration of Abraham's sacrifice of his son. The great festival Eid-ul-Adha occurs on the tenth day of the last month of the Muslim year, namely Dzul-Hijjah, and coincides with the last day of the Hajj pilgrimage.

The principle of sacrifice is our willingness to give up something dear to us for a high purpose. As such, the word SACRIFICE has a lot of significance. Not only from parents to children but it should work vice versa as well.

However, in today's wild world, nobody seems to care and bother the feeling of each other. We are living in ego-centric and self-centered environment. We become demanding until our wish is fulfilled.

Adlina and Ariff...

Life is not about how you make yourself HAPPY BUT how you make OTHERS HAPPIER. Be a good daughter and son my dear and always listen to Ayah and Umi.
